Caden Hicks, a senior at University City High in California, won the Division 3 boys title at the CIF San Diego Section Championships by covering the 3-mile layout in 15:08.1 at Balboa Park's Morley Field. Hicks, who finished fifth last season in 15:57.7, helped University City secure sixth with 169 points.
